I decided while I was on vacation that I would take a mental break and not watch the Orioles. I followed the box scores, but I did not watch any games. Of course, the first inning that I do watch in a few days, Julio Lugo attempts to bunt with two strikes because he thought he only had one and he struck out. Then the O's blew the lead and eventually the game against the Detroit Tigers. I am glad to see things have not changed. With only four games until the All-Star break, the Orioles have a chance to be the first team in major league history to not have a 4-game winner by the break. Perfect...
Count me as maybe the only person excited to see the LeBron James special tonight. I am not a huge NBA fan, so I only really start watching when the playoffs start, but the fact that I am interested in July, the NBA has to be happy with the attention it is having. I think James decides to stay at home in Cleveland, but I am hoping he decides to join the Miami Heat and team up with friends Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
