I have admitted many times that I am not a huge hockey fan, but last night's game between USA and Canada was as an exciting game as a person will watch. The U.S. started quickly by scoring 41 seconds into the contest and even though Canada outshot the United States 45-23 and lost 5-3, the game never seemed close. The Americans are the number one seed as they advance to the quarterfinals for their game on Tuesday.
Thank you Cliff Tucker! The junior hit the game winning shot Saturday against Georgia Tech in what became a crazy 10 seconds at College Park. Tucker has had an up-and-down three years at Maryland as he has great games, but often times disappearing and wondering what his role is. The Terps have a tough three game stretch coming up with games against Clemson, Virginia Tech and Duke so Saturday's win was huge as they try to keep pace in the ACC.
