I know it is hard to believe with all the snow on the ground and more coming, but pitchers and catchers report for the Orioles a week from Wednesday. I can not wait until spring training and see the maturation of the young players, especially the pitchers. I will give a roster breakdown as spring training kicks off, but knowing baseball season is close has allowed me to deal with the snow. However, since there is still time until baseball season starts and with the NFL season officially over, my attention turns to college basketball. The Terps played as well of a game as possible on Sunday against the Tar Heels. They were red hot from the field, especially from 3-point range as they shot over 50% from both. I am enjoying watch these guys play, led by the three seniors, but I still want to see them win against a quality team. With Virginia, Duke, Georgia Tech, and Clemson on the horizon, the Terps will have plenty of opportunities to prove that they belong in the ACC elite.
