Chicken Box Friday!
Maryland's Greivis Vasquez puts up a one-hander running against Florida State. He led Maryland with 23 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

Happy Chicken Box Friday!  I hope everyone is safe during the snowstorm and can make it to their Super Bowl parties!  The Terps were able to get back in the win column last night with their 71-67 victory over Florida State.  Maryland is now 15-6 overall with a 5-2 record in the ACC.  Greivis Vasquez filled up the box score again, but I am starting to be convinced that this team goes as Landon Milbourne goes.  Vasquez will always get his stats, but in order for the Terps to have a shot to win, Milbourne needs to play well.  Milbourne scored 18 points last night in the win and added 3 steals, 3 blocks, and 6 rebounds.  In the loss to Clemson, Milbourne was only able to contribute 3 points, but he averaged 16.5 points in the previous four victories.  Jordan Williams continues to progress as a freshman, but Sean Mosley and Eric Hayes have been too inconsistent on the offensive end.  Milbourne has been the steady influence all season long, and if the Terps want to win the ACC, the senior has to continue to play well.

Can't agree with you more, Phil. Landon Milbourne is the pulse for this team. Greivis did his thing, got a shimmy shake along the way. He got one shot in off a screen, which he needs to continue to do, if he hopes to play in the "show." Sean Mosley plays like a robot, it pains me to watch him play; he is not fluid at all. Jordan Williams will be a beast, because he does not get rattled when Gary goes into his tirades; he takes things in stride.
